Grand Abolisher helps with shenanigans on my turn. Gift of Immortality is my main defense, but then she's vulnerable to anything else for a while. I usually wait to cast Bruna until I have haste, 21 dmg, some form of untargetable, and a form of indestructibility. My league awards points for hitting exactly 21 commadner damage and the +1 or +3 make it easier to hit since using something like battle mastery always makes an even number.
